Established in 2005, Hui O Hana Pono is a Hawaii non-profit corporation and SBA-certified Native Hawaiian Organization, (“NHO”). Literally translated, “Hui O Hana Pono” means “the house that does good work”.

Our mission is to improve the lives of Native Hawaiians through economic empowerment, education, and advocacy. We are driven by our mission, and we operate ourselves with the same discipline, rigor and innovative spirit of a for-profit business.

Unlike a for-profit business, however, we use our profits to fund our charitable activities. Hui and its subsidiaries are headquartered in Honolulu, HI and are, or were, SBA Certified 8(a) SDB entities by virtue of its ownership by Hui. Together, Hui and its family of companies provide Large Company Capabilities with Small Company Flexibility and Agility, allowing us to meet the unique needs and demanding requirements in today’s rapidly changing Federal environment.
